Can't find your council yet?
We're still filling in coverage for regional areas, the ACT, NT and Tasmania. The metro hubs below are the most complete so far — worth a look even if your suburb isn't listed by name.
How do you verify these rebates?
We check each listing against the official source — usually a state or council page — on a rolling basis, roughly once a week. If something's changed or closed, we update the listing or take it down.
Are you affiliated with the government?
No. We're an independent site that collects and explains publicly available programs. We don't process applications and we don't take a cut of anything you receive.
How often is this list updated?
New grants get added as we find them, and existing ones are re-checked weekly. The badge on each card shows exactly when we last confirmed it — treat anything over a month old with a bit more caution.
A rebate on here looks like it's expired. What do I do?
Let us know through the contact page. Funding rounds open and close quickly, and we'd rather pull a listing fast than leave it up by mistake.
Do I apply through OrbreNews?
No — applications always go through the issuing agency. Every card links to where you actually apply, not to us.
